PROJECT: PROCESSING MACHINERY FOR OPENING AND PROCESSING OF BOXES WITH MEET

Characteristics: Processing machinery for opening boxes containing meat, as well as furthering meat for onward processing Contains: – robotic arm to grab the boxes and put them on a conveyer belt, which contains a stop function and gate – knife module to cut the packaging foil – module with vacuum lifters, capable of lifting and rotating the box – pneumatic module for lifting and emptying the box – conveyer belt for receiving the empty boxes – conveyer belt for removing the meat from the boxes – module for cutting the packaging foil and unwrapping

PROJECT: MACHINE FOR MOUNTING OF DISPLAYS ON THE TABLET FRAMES

Characeristics: 
For mounting the display on the tablet frame, a force of 800-1600 N is needed. To achieve this, 4 small pneumatic cylinders are included.

Functioning principle:
A worker opens a tray to see different tablet profiles (10, 13, 15 inches). Then a tablet frame is placed, 3M adhesive tape is prepared, and a display is set on the tablet frame.
The tray is then closed, and the pneumatic press is activated, producing enough force to put the parts together.
The container and the press plate are made from Teflon, protecting the display and the tablet frame. Further safety mechanisms include: 2 stages of activation, i.e., pneumatic switch to prevent the pneumatic cylinders activating when the tray is still open; sensor signalizes that the tray is not closed yet.

PROJECT: MOBILE CNC MACHINE

Characteristics: A prototype design was made for a mobile CNC machine, unlike a standard and fixed CNC machine. Consequently, the design is set on tracks and has no X and Y directions limitations, which is a disadvantage of a common CNC machine. The positioning is done with 2 CNA motors for X and Y directions and one step motor for Z direction. The plan was also to have lasers set on the front to check the axes orientation during operation. The mobile CNC machine was only intended for use on flat surfaces.

PROJECT: MACHINE FOR METAL PUNCHING

Characteristics: 2 tooling versions for metal punching and plastic deformation were done. Both tooling options have a leading plate, holding the metal in place during deformation and punching. All tooling is production-ready and has a defined tolerance, which is important for correctly processing a specific metal part. Additional force calculations were done to choose the correct press for the tooling. Also, further automation of the metal punching machine is possible, as well as conversion to a metal punching processing line.

PROJECT: MACHINE FOR CUTTING PROFILES

Characteristics: The machine was designed to rotate and translate profiles during cutting. The machine itself is positioned on rails and includes a motor with additional gears to move on the rails. The upper part is for cutting and gives it the best position during entry and cutting. This is important for avoiding cutter blocking. Also, it has a mechanism for fixing up the profile that has been cut. It supports a profile diameter up to 600 mm.

PROJECT: MACHINE FOR CRUSHING ICE

Characteristics: Design of machine for crushing ice for coffee bars and restaurants. The machine’s function is to crush the inserted ice in small pieces and doze the delivery of the crushed ice. The machine has two chambers. The above-cooled chamber has self-adjustable knives for crushing the bigger ice pieces. Meanwhile, there is a door for the dozer chamber below the upper chamber, where the crushed ice arrives. Also, below the dozer chamber, there is another door for delivering the crushed ice in the glass below it. The dosage of the crushed ice is done by adjusting the opening time of the chamber’s doors. There is a command panel on the back side of the machine where temperature and the dosage can be adjusted.

PROJECT: MACHINE FOR CHECKING DIAMONDS

Characteristics: A device for remotely checking diamonds; the customer or the valuer can evaluate remotely using a normal internet connection. Uses a robotic arm and camera with controllable focus to record and analyze the object. The object can be analyzed remotely from different sides and angles.

PROJECT: MEET PROCESSING MACHINE

Characteristics: The design was done for a meat industry processing machine, which can also be adapted to cut cheese and vegetables. The design of the knife was done at the client’s request. Meanwhile, the length of the processed piece is regulated by the speed of the actuator pushing both the material and the speed of the knife. The machine has been completed according to US standards for food processing. Additionally, 2 types of knives were designed for this machine, with adaptable additional weights so that everything can be balanced. All machine doors have sensors, which means they cannot open during operation, protecting the operator from knives and moving parts.
