PROJECT: SMART RADIATOR VALVE
Characteristics: Design for smart radiator valve containing electronics components, led lighting, and transparent housing. Draft analysis is completed in such a way the valve can be produced using uncomplicated tooling. Additional thickness analysis is conducted to check the uniformity cooling of the housing and avoid shrinking areas. This design offers production perks, as well as easy display of the parts.

PROJECT: DENTAL LASER DEVICE
Characteristics: 5W laser device solution design, which is suitable for antimicrobial dental cleaning and to prepare for injection molding. Work focused on designing the basic charging station and the device itself, consisting of a battery, electronics and a rubber switch button, made with molding.
Customer: CMS Dental, Denmark
PROJECT: MOBILE SCANNER DEVICE
Characteristics: Design the equipment for mounting and carrying a faro scanner device. Complete with the possibility to mount the equipment on the car, other vehicles and industrial robots. The construction allowed uninterrupted optical functioning of the laser scanner and protected it from accidental fall or tumbling. According to the customer requirements, the framework was prepared, on which carbon plates were mounted to stabilize the whole construction. At the same time, the design maintained a low weight. It features a design to replace the top antennae, the laser scanner and the side battery easily. Fixing the construction to the top of the car is achieved through vacuum suction elements and an additional plate.

PROJECT: FIREFIGHTING MOBILE ROBOT
Characteristics: Project for a 4km range tracked firefighting robot with one battery charge. The requirement was for the robot to have a maximum width of 70cm, allowing it to traverse the door openings during the firefighting mission. The robot also has additional equipment such as IC and thermal camera, as well as LEDs that can be positioned manually. Handrails are on both sides for the transport and protection of the robot. The robot has type POK firefighting equipment, and from its backside, it can be connected to a standard firefighting hose DN 75. Due to durability requirements, the parts were made out of aluminum and chrome.

PROJECT: BIONIC FISH SUBMARINE
Characteristics: This project is about designing a submarine complete with bionic fish-like propulsion. The bionic fish submarine project was done in 2 phases. – The first phase was designing the bionic fish submarine, and the second phase was about practical testing of the feasibility of the concept. – The second phase included: prototyping and testing the 1:5 scale model and its functionality, speed, movement of the front cockpit part (this should be as stable as possible), programming of the movement of the 4 linking parts, and self-balancing feature. After designing and presenting the model, interest was presented to advance the bionic fish submarine’s development and automate its surveillance operation.

PROJECT: TELESCOPE WITH INSTALLATION
Characteristics: A check was conducted on the telescope model and clamps for EQ2 installation of a telescope. It was planned to have a telescope with a size of 70/900. Through a quick clamp change, another bigger telescope can be mounted. An additional check was done for min/max positioning and the tripod’s weight for telescope positioning. Prepared ready for presentation of the telescope with the EQ2 installation.

PROJECT: DENTAL WATER CLEANING DEVICE
Characteristics: The device to jet clean teeth using pulsed water. Complete design of mechanical part, including the part with the water pump and valves. Optimized design regarding the timing of water jets compared to standard devices. The device has improved battery capacity and offers 2 outputs for water jets for both sides of the teeth, compared to 1 water jet seen, as often by other devices. The cartridge design means the user can choose the taste while cleaning the teeth with a water jet. Several changes to prepare for production, part montage, and after molding for rubber surfaces.

PROJECT: SMART DEVICE FOR BICYCLE
Characteristics: Design for a smart device for a bicycle, containing: – Rechargeable headlight that can be locked via Bluetooth/Smartphone application – Effective Piezo alarm – Additional reflecting construction with added led for better visibility in traffic – Completely waterproof smartphone casing The device can be mounted on the bicycle using a special key (delivered together). The rechargeable headlight’s projecting feature can be used independently of the device. Meanwhile, the rechargeable headlight is done via a locking mechanism, which is controlled using Bluetooth on a smartphone. The complete device is IP 67 protected and is effective in all weather conditions. The buttons are made out of soft rubber. Finally, the smartphone carrier is on a joint, giving the phone flexibility in different directions.
